About KW Creative

A writing studio shaped by care, stories & clarity.

I’m Kerry – a writer, ghostwriter and communications specialist. KW Creative is where my work in the care sector, my love of fiction, and my interest in everyday communication come together.

Background

How KW Creative came together

KW Creative began as a way to bring together the kinds of writing I kept returning to: clear, kind communications for care and community organisations, and story-led work for publishers, authors and would-be authors.

Before starting the studio, I worked in marketing and communications roles for fostering agencies and care providers, alongside my own fiction and ghostwriting projects. That combination means I am used to writing about sensitive, emotionally heavy topics in ways that still feel accessible and human.

Now, KW Creative is the place where those strands meet. Whether you need a new set of web pages, an information pack, or support with a book-length project, my aim is to make the process feel calm, structured and collaborative.

Approach

What it’s like to work together

Most projects follow a gentle, structured process. There is space to ask questions, change direction and make sure the work still feels like you.

Calm, step-by-step projects

Writing projects can feel large and overwhelming, especially when the topic is close to your heart. I break the work into clear steps, share drafts at agreed points, and keep you updated on what is happening next.

Respect for lived experience

Many of the projects I work on involve care, health, family histories or other sensitive experiences. I handle these with care, checking language with you and being honest about what feels appropriate to share on the page.
